"Dream Beyond" was a groundbreaking campaign for Nike that aimed to capture the raw determination and relentless spirit of athletes. The project required capturing authentic moments of athletes in their element, pushing beyond perceived limitations.
Shot over 12 days across three countries, this commercial combined high-speed cinematography with intimate documentary-style footage to create a narrative that resonates with athletes and dreamers alike.
The main challenge was balancing the need for high-production commercial aesthetics with authentic, raw athletic performance. Every shot had to feel genuine while maintaining the visual polish expected of a global brand campaign.
We developed a unique shooting approach that combined traditional commercial cinematography with documentary techniques. Using ARRI Alexa LF cameras with vintage anamorphic lenses, we created a look that felt both epic and intimate.
